The latest version of the software, Autodesk Maya 2014 SP4, is now available for both Mac and Windows users with a truckload of fixes and improvements, which I’d prefer not to lay out in this brief post because of the brutal way Autodesk explains bug fixes. See for yourself.
Fair to say SP4 has every known bug covered, and every creative who is serious about his/her work in Maya should definitely apply the patch. Find the download links attached at the end of this post, as usual. New users will need 4GB of RAM, 2GB of free disk space, and a three-button mouse to get started.
