Save $130 on your purchase of a first-generation Apple tablet computer

First generation iPads are hard to come by these days (especially the 3G-enabled models), but not if Apple has anything to say about it. There seem to be some refurbished units still left in the company’s warehouses, and they’re selling for $399 apiece.

Apple is rumored to release a third-gen iPad in about two months from now, at which point the iPad 2 will reportedly drop to $399.

But if your palms are itching for a cheap iPad 1 now, there are a few refurbished units listed over at the company’s Special Deals section.

The Refurbished iPad with Wi-Fi + 3G 16GB - Black - AT&T (first generation) goes for $399, which means the customer saves $130 on their purchase of a new Apple tablet.

The device was originally released in April 2010 and boasts the same 9.7-inch widescreen display as the iPad 2, 16GB flash drive capacity, and Wi-Fi + 3G connectivity. The offer is valid only in the U.S.
