iTunes 11.3 had significant improvements, but the new stuff came with some annoying bugs. Apple finally fixed those bugs last Thursday and brought some new features to the app.

One of the problems iTunes 11.3 had was related to podcasts. According to the change log, Apple released iTunes 11.3.1 to address a problem where subscribed podcasts may stop updating with new episodes. The new version also resolves an issue where iTunes may become unresponsive while browsing your podcasts episodes in a list.

When iTunes 11.3 showed up in the Mac App Store, it had some really nice things for the end users. The app introduced the all-new iTunes Extras for HD movies. This feature includes behind-the-scenes videos, short films, the director's commentary, scenes, high-resolution image galleries and many more. The extra package comes with every purchased HD Movie and new ones are being added every day.

The best thing about iTunes Extras is that it is linked to your account. For example, if you buy an HD Movie on your Mac, you can see all the other content on your Apple TV if you get the Software Update 6.2. It will also be available on iPhone and iPad once the iOS 8 drops.

If there is a movie that you have already purchased in HD a few years ago, the extra content will be added as soon as it becomes available and it's all for free.
