Apple’s largest retail store ever made will open its doors this week, presumably on Tuesday, according to people who claim to be familiar with the matter.

The Grand Central store will be Apple’s largest in the world, if you were to measure it by square feet.

The store is housed in one of the most busy places on the planet where around 750,000 people pass daily. The number can shoot up to 1,000,000 during the holidays, according to 9to5mac.

The blog cites its sources as saying that Apple seems geared towards a Tuesday, November 22 grand opening.

The store will have roughly 300 employees. The personnel is currently undergoing training at other NY Apple stores. The goal has been to have the store opened around Christmas to attract as many visitors as possible around launch time.

With Apple’s EasyPay system now online, sales will be booming this holiday season.
