The iPhone 6 charger will be similar to the current Australian charger

A photo posted on Chinese website Weibo shows what looks like the future iPhone 6 charger. The part is very similar in shape and overall look and feel to the current Australian iPhone charger.

The user that posted the photo with the charger has also added a new one with the reversible USB to lightning port cable. Both parts are still wrapped in a transparent plastic that seems very similar to the iPhone one.

There are two advantages to this new design. First of all, the connector itself is a little bit smaller. Apple kept the rectangular design, but aimed for a narrower charger with rounded corners.

Another plus is the fact that there will be two groves on each side of the charger, making it easier to plug or unplug. The user did not show the USB connector of the new plug, but this may be suited more to the reversible USB connector. The face with the outlet plugs has all the necessary Apple inscriptions, including the famous "Designed by Apple in California. Made in China".

Apple is expected to release a reversible USB connector for the lightning port cable. This would be as easy to use as the lightning port because there's no right or wrong way to plug it. The new stuff should be announced in about two weeks and released mid-September.
