iMac users having trouble keeping their machine connected to a wireless internet connection have been offered a software fix from the computer giant headquartered at 1 Infinite Loop, Cupertino, California.
iMac Wi-Fi Update version 1.0 promises to resolve “an issue that may cause an iMac to not automatically connect to a known Wi-Fi network after waking from sleep.”
Apple stresses that the update is recommended for all iMacs shipped since late 2009. The installer is to be run on OS X 10.7.3 Lion.
