Apple’s e-reading application is suffering from a bug that’s causing the software to quit during lectures. A quick update aims to resolve said issue, and customers are instructed to visit the iTunes App Store and download iBooks 3.0.2 now.

iBooks 3 is an all-new version of Apple’s e-reading app introduced in October. It integrates with iCloud allowing customers to see all their iBookstore purchases in a single library, and features vertical scrolling, free (automatic) updates for purchases titles, new language support (for definitions), and integration with social networks.

Although most customers are happy with the new additions, some have been unable to enjoy a proper reading experience because of a bug (or multiple bugs) causing the app to quit.

According to the App Store, “iBooks 3.0.2 resolves an issue where iBooks may unexpectedly quit.” The new version is immediately available via the link below.
