14 DAY TRIAL // Apple has released Samsung Printer Drivers v2.6 for OS X, a 15.3 MB downloadable package for OS X customers adding support for the latest printing and scanning software.
Apple usually mentions the newly supported devices in each Printer Driver update it releases, but not this time.
According to the release notes for Samsung Printer Drivers v2.5 for OS X, “This download includes the latest Samsung printing and scanning software for OS X Mavericks, OS X Mountain Lion, OS X Lion and Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard.”
The Cupertino giant directs customers to Support article HT3669, where users can glance at the lengthy list of supported Samsung printers in OS X 10.6, 10.7, 10.8, and 10.9.
If you have the name of your printer and wish to see if it can be found on that list, simply use your browser’s find-in-page function (Command+F), type in the name of the device and see if it gets highlighted. If it does, that means your printer is now supported.
