Apple has updated its WWDC app with a few improvements to some of the existing features. The release notes also mention that regular users can also employ the app.

Based on feedback from the community, Apple has addressed some issues in the WWDC app. In version 1.0.1, available now from iTunes, “videos now continue to play over AirPlay when the device locks or after interruptions, e.g., a phone call,” says Apple/

The audio ringer switch no longer mutes audio when playing videos, while Favorites in Events now go all the way to 11 PM.

Users will no longer see duplicate section headers in the videos list, and the navigation bar in Events should no longer vanish. Also users should notice that text in session details is not blurry anymore.

Finally, Apple wants to augment future bug reports or feedback and has thus added version information.

The Mac maker tells users that those with a developer account can make the most of the app, but “If you're not a Registered Apple Developer, you can still use the app — just tap Cancel when you're prompted to sign in,” says the company.
