Fixes Find My Mac issues, improves recovery service

Apple has issued a Lion Recovery Update that improves the behavior of the OS X recovery function. The update is tasked with fixing a Find My Mac problem as well. Read on to learn more.

On a more specific note, Apple explains that “The Lion Recovery Update includes improvements to Lion Recovery, and addresses an issue with Find My Mac or Lion Server Profile manager when using a firmware password.”

Customers are directed to www.apple.com/macosx/recovery for more information about the recovery feature in Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion).

The feature permits a system restore with just a few clicks. Users don’t have to use discs or other drives to get back and running with OS X.

Lion Recovery Update can only be applied to systems running OS X 10.7. The download is a hefty 431.91 MB package.
