14 DAY TRIAL // Tests carried out on the newest MacBook Air computers reveal a 217% spike in data reading and writing thanks to a new SSD (solid state drive) architecture.
Apple, on June 11th, updated its flagship MacBook Air laptop with the latest Intel Core processors, faster graphics and last but not least, “flash storage that is up to twice as fast as the previous generation,” according to the company’s marketing materials.
Tests conducted by OS X Daily with DiskSpeedTest, a free disk benchmarking app from the Mac App Store,revealed that Apple is lying. The performance is actually higher than double. Per the original report:
