Guam and The Philippines to get Apple’s Retina-enabled tablet on Tuesday

Apple’s new-generation iPad boasting a Retina display and other cool enhancements is launching in two new countries next week, May 29th, according to the company’s “Where to buy” web page.

A finding credited to macnn.com, Guam and The Philippines are getting the new Apple iPad this next Tuesday, in all configurations, including the 4G-capable model. Guam will be distributing the tablet PC through authorized Apple resellers, whereas The Philippines will also be selling the gadget through its local operator, Globe Telecom.

Apple’s new iPad marked the fastest product rollout for the company. The device is now purchasable in roughly 100 territories across the globe, with more to be added in the coming months. In the US, the base model featuring only WiFi connectivity retails for $499, which translates into roughly 400 EUR.
