Same iPods, same storage capacities and prices; only the coating is new

Apple quietly added the Space Gray color option to its range of iPod players, following the iPhone 5s announcement this Tuesday, leaving the price and the storage options intact.

The Cupertino giant is giving the Space Gray treatment to several iPod models, including the shuffle, the nano, and the touch, but not the iPod classic, apparently.

The prices and the storage capacities remain unchanged. For the more expensive iPod touch range, the Space Gray color option is only available for customers purchasing the 32GB and 64GB models.

Apple also recently introduced a 16GB version of the iPod touch player, pricing it more aggressively. The “budget” iPod touch sells for $229/€229 and ships in one standard color option (a lighter shade of gray), and lacks the Loop and the backwards-facing 5MP iSight camera.
