14 DAY TRIAL // Apple has launched updated versions of its standard iPhone docks for the latest iPhones introduced last week, supporting charging, syncing, and speakerphone calls.
Priced identically as before – $29/€29 –, the iPhone 5s Dock and the iPhone 5c Dock allow customers to charge and sync their phones in a convenient position on their desk.
Both docks sport a built-in audio line port that connects to powered speakers and plays back music or whatever audio you may have stored on your iPhone. “You can even conduct speakerphone calls with your iPhone in its dock,” says Apple.
Existing iPhone 5 owners can use the iPhone 5s dock with no problem, since the design and the dimensions of the two phones are identical.
Visit Apple’s online store to check out the new docks up close. Currently, only the 5c version is shipping, because Apple is yet to kick off sales of the iPhone 5s.
