Customers get an Apple Gift Card valued in accordance with the device

Apple has included the second-generation iPad in its Recycling Program which yields a Gift card valued relative to your tablet’s market value.

Best of all, you’ll have that warm fuzzy feeling inside knowing that the company will recycle it properly for you.

Customers are presented with a questionnaire where they tick yes or no for questions like “Are there any cracks or damage to either the display or case?”, or “Does the battery fully charge?”.

After they finish telling Apple the condition of their iPad 2, a quota is offered (like the one above for a base-model iPad 2 WiFI 16GB). If you like the offer, you can hit continue. You can then provide Apple with your credentials and address and have the iPad shipped.

The value of your iPad 2 is estimated by PowerON. They determine the actual value of your Apple Gift Card too, but only after they receive and evaluate your device.
