Improves overall stability and addresses a few minor issues

iMovie fans have a new update to download from the App Store, Apple has announced. The new release focuses on fixing bugs and improves the overall stability of the software.

According to the release notes on the iTunes App Store, iMovie version 1.3.1 “improves overall stability and addresses a number of minor issues.” Those include the added ability to access Help when editing a project on iPad, and fixing an issue where the incorrect frame was shown after splitting a clip.

iMovie iOS is compatible with iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch (4th generation), iPad 2 Wi-Fi, iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G, iPad (3rd generation) and iPad Wi-Fi + 4G and requires iOS 5.1 or later. The app costs five bucks (or 4 EUR).
