14 DAY TRIAL // Whatever luck brought Apple the injunction against Samsung's Galaxy Tab 7.7 in the EU, and the ban on Galaxy tab in the US, it seems to have spread around the world.
What we mean to say it that the Cupertino, California-based company has managed to delay the consequences of its loss in the United Kingdom.
For those who don't remember, the British judge ruled that Samsung's devices weren’t copies and that Apple had to publish a slew of ads and notices saying so.
The company was supposed to post such things on its website, newspapers, magazines, etc.
All Things Digital now reports that Apple managed to persuade the court to delay the enforcement of that ruling until October (2012), when it is allowed to appeal the decision.
Apple is lucky really, to get this boon, when Samsung got preliminary injunctions enforced right off the bat, repeatedly, even though it later appealed and won. Granted, those things happened in other countries, so they don't really have much bearing on the UK court, but still.
