CatPig Studios Inc. goes as far as to copy Apple’s own artwork

Updated on November 23, music-streaming app Radium now sports a “beautiful iOS 7 redesign + stability and performance improvements.”

It seems developer CatPig Studios has taken Apple’s instructions for iOS 7 consistency a tad too seriously.

The seller touts Radium as the “perfect internet radio,” with the ability to find stations by name, genre or region in real time. Users get over 8000 stations, a Smart Equalizer tool and a built-in Wish List.

Numerous other perks seemingly borrowed from iTunes Radio (and Pandora) can also be found in Radium, but that’s really not a problem since every music streaming service out there offers pretty much the same set of features.

What is a problem is the application icon used by Radium, which looks strikingly similar to Apple’s own iTunes Radio icon.

Update: developer CatPig has quietly updated the Radium icon to a much more original design - a droid with headphones and antennas sticking out.
