14 DAY TRIAL // Amazon has pushed out a small update for users of its Local app, adding support for iOS 7 and a few other perks. The software is free to download and use on any iDevice.
The company promises that its app will save you up to 75% on offers from local businesses, online merchants, and national chains, every day.
“Our app lets you view and buy offers in seconds, whether it’s a fast-selling Amazon MP3 deal, a special chef dinner, or a luxurious massage,” according to the online retailer.
Users can set their deal preferences in such a way that they only receive the notifications they’re interested in.
Version 2.1 is optimized for iOS 7 with a flat graphics and a minimalistic icon set, while Today's Deals will load “noticeably faster,” according to its creators. Various other fixes and improvements are also scattered throughout the update. Download Amazon Local on any iDevice with iOS 5.1 installed.
