14 DAY TRIAL // Amazon has released a new version of its Cloud Drive app with native support for Apple tablets and several other enhancements and tweaks.
Amazon Cloud Drive Photos 2.0 comes with iPad compatibility, including full support for the iPad Air and iPad mini with Retina display. Users can protect their personal videos in Cloud Drive and upload or download video up to 2GB in size (or 20 minutes in length) on Wi-Fi.
Also on a Wi-Fi connection, the user can set Cloud Drive to automatically upload videos to the cloud as they are being shot. Also, the 2.0 update includes fixes for known crashes and bugs.
Amazon Cloud Drive Photos 2.0 weighs in at 20 MB and requires iOS 6.0 on any iDevice that supports the firmware (including iPads now). The app is free.
