Designer Martin Hajek has released new 3D renderings of the next iPhone and its case

Martin Hajek is not at his first concept, but this time the 3D renderings are not about the iPhone, but the design of the case.

This new one looks like it took some design cues from the old iPod touch plastic box or the one from iPhone 5c. It surely has nothing to do with the current iPhone 2G to iPhone 5s boxes.

Martin Hajek explains that he based his drawings on the iPhone 6 concept and decided to see how a conceptual packaging idea shines a light over the softness of the future iPhone model.

The box has a transparent cover that lets you see the iPhone inside and a white or black back to match the color of the phone. When you open it and set the phone aside, you will see all the accessories below it – a 220V USB charger, USB to lightning cable and a set of EarPods.

The case itself has another transparent plastic layer on top of it with an open base at the bottom, so you can just set it on a desk standing up.

The back of the case has either a black label with a white Apple logo on it, or a white label with a silver Apple logo. The label Hajek used has a similar text to the one from the AT&T sold iPhone 5s.
