After releasing Podcasts 1.2 with numerous new features and enhancements this week, Apple has updated the application to version 1.2.1 to include a number of bug fixes.

“Podcasts 1.2.1 addresses a problem with refreshing some podcasts and an issue with upgrading to Podcasts 1.2,” according to the release notes published by Apple this weekend.

Apparently, some users have been having trouble with the application. Hopefully, this update will address all the issues.

The new Podcasts app now offers the ability to create custom stations of your favorite podcasts that update automatically with new episodes.

You also get to choose whether your stations begin playing with the newest or oldest unplayed episode, and stations are now stored in the cloud and kept up to date on all your iCloud-enabled gizmos.

Also noteworthy, playlists synced from iTunes now appear in the Podcasts app on your iDevice.
