Adobe today published a minor update for users of its Creative Cloud client on OS X computers, addressing an issue that caused “termination of various applications,” according to the Flash makers.

Adobe customers reaping the benefits from Creative Cloud on a Mac have a new update to download and install.

Creative Cloud 1.4.1.351 promises to address “a bug for non-administrator Mac OS X users that resulted in termination of various applications.”

Applications like Bridge CC, Edge Inspect CC, Adobe Media Encoder and Scout CC would crash on launch, according to the changelog, while “Premiere Pro CC terminated upon export of file,” Adobe says.

The update further corrects some code to correctly set access privileges on “~/Library/Preferences/Adobe” folder on Mac OS X allowing read/write access for the user. A Windows update is also available, but without any proper release notes.
