A 21.5-inch iMac originally released last year is up for grabs on Apple’s Special Deals section for just $999 (U.S. only), saving its lucky buyer $200.

Listed as Refurbished iMac 21.5-inch 2.5GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5, this computer was originally released in May 2011, and boasts a 21.5-inch LED-backlit glossy widescreen display, 4GB memory, 500GB hard drive, 8x SuperDrive (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW), AMD Radeon HD 6750M graphics with 512MB memory, and Built-in FaceTime HD camera.

The system comes preloaded with OS X Lion, which means you won’t need to make a trip to the Mac App Store to upgrade from Snow Leopard, and ships with an Apple Wireless Keyboard and Magic Mouse.
