A $699 MacBook Air is just waiting to be snatched from the Deals section of Apple’s online store.

Saving its lucky buyer $200 (or 22% off) according to the listings at store.apple.com, the Refurbished MacBook Air 1.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo was originally released October 2010 and boasts an 11.6-inch LED-backlit glossy widescreen display, 2GB memory, 64GB flash storage, and NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics.

This is not the Sandy Bridge / Thunderbolt refresh model, which means there’s also no backlit keyboard to be had with this version of the MacBook Air.

But it is one of the newer models with a redesigned chassis and the first to come in an 11-inch screen configuration. It comes pre-installed with Snow Leopard, which may not be all that bad considering that many still reap the benefits of the older Mac OS X. If you do decide to upgrade to Lion, it’s going to cost you $30.
