The social-rich 4shared Mobile media platform has been updated on iOS to include video streaming without downloading, a repeat mode for single tracks, a file sort feature, and lots more.

The place of choice for many users with vast libraries of photos, videos and other things, 4shared Mobile lets your media travel with you wherever you may go. It offers a media file database with a public search mode which allows you to find more content.

“Whatever media you fancy, collect it to your 4shared account and enjoy! By the way, if you want to get your photos noticed, you can easily share them with family, or the whole world,” says the developer.

Version 2.4.0 allows users to stream videos without downloading, introduces a repeat mode for a single track (activated with a double tap of the “Repeat” icon), increases the download for the “Favorites” folder, and adds a new file sort feature for the “Favorites” folder.

The update further fixes an issue where some files in the folder were not displayed, and a problem with accidental logging out of the service. Other bugs are also squashed.

4shared Mobile supports English, Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Persian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Thai, and Turkish, and requires iOS 7.0 (or newer) to run.
