Apple is featuring a kick a** discount through the Special Deals area of its online store where customers can now secure a refurbished MacBook Air whose price has been slashed by a whopping $400.

I’m sure many of you already know what to expect from this deal (it’s not like this is the first time I’m featuring Mac refurbs in the news), but for those of us who aren’t so up-to-date with the specs, here’s what you get for $1,099.

The MacBook Air in question was released October 2010 with a 1.86 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, a 13.3-inch LED-backlit glossy widescreen display, 2GB of memory (RAM) and a lot of NAND Flash storage - 256GB.

The graphical output is handled by a mobile solution - NVIDIA GeForce 320M. The computer comes with a built-in FaceTime camera and a battery that offers between 5 and 7 hours of wireless productivity. As usual, stock is limited, so if you want this baby, you'd better hurry up and grab it.
