The end-users themselves aren’t left without a proper credit either

Apple today was eager to dish out equal amounts of thanks to everyone wielding an iOS device for the 25 billion app downloads recorded on iTunes.

While it is the end-user who is directly responsible for Apple’s 25 billion App Store downloads, it’s actually the developers who made all this possible by creating a pool of over 550,000 titles for everyone to choose something they like.

In typical Apple fashion, the company’s Senior Vice President of Internet Software and Services, Eddy Cue, thanks everyone for helping achieve this incredible feat:

“We’d like to thank our customers and developers for helping us achieve this historic milestone of 25 billion apps downloaded,” said Cue.

“When we launched the App Store less than four years ago, we never imagined that mobile apps would become the phenomenon they have, or that developers would create such an incredible selection of apps for iOS users.”
