Lostify For Mac

Lostify is a small application that offers you the possibility to add or edit the metadata of your MP4 media files. Lostify is focused on working with tags used by iTunes or any other Apple device, such as iPhones, iPods or Apple TVs.

Since the tags used by Lostify are compatible with these devices, whenever you will play the content on an Apple product, the files will be placed in the appropriate category and you will be able to browse the metadata.

To install Lostify simply drag and drop the application to your drive. To start using it, launch Lostify and import an MP4 file via the File menu. In the Lostify main window you will be able to view all the metadata information that can be modified.

Lostify offers you the possibility to change the file name, to specify the production number, the episode number, the track or disc number or to store a small description. You can set the release date, the file kind, the series title, the season number, the album/artist name, the network, include a copyright notice, specify the genre, the encoding tool and much more.

You can add your own rating (including your own annotations), the content advisory status and additional comments. Moreover, you can store information about the featured actors, directors, producers or screenwriters.

Lostify is a great metadata editor that will prove extremely useful if you want to use on your Apple devices media content that has not been acquired via the iTunes Store.
