New in xProDDNS 14.2.0.3 (Oct 20, 2014)

  • Introduces a great new feature and addresses a major flaw in SSLv3 (secure sockets layer version 3), a cryptographic protocol used for secure Internet connections.
  • Free IP Monitor with Realtime Email and Text Message Alerts
  • Exclusive Use of TLS to address the SSLv3 POODLE Vulnerability
  • Email and text message alerts are now sent whenever a public IP address changes. The realtime notifications are completely independent of any Dynamic DNS service provider accounts. This new feature makes xProDDNS a free IP monitor and a Dynamic DNS client.
  • TLS (transport layer security) is now used exclusively for all secure Internet connections. This strict change of cryptographic protocols is in response to the recently discovered POODLE vulnerability in SSLv3.
