  • Download History (available on macOS 10.12 or later):
  • Adds Download History window. You can access this by going to the menu bar > Download History > Show All History
  • Duplicate detection: When attempting to download a video that you've already downloaded the app now shows you an alert. This allows you to skip the duplicates found or download them (works well when downloading channels or playlists).
  • You can disable or enable (enabled by default) duplicate detection in the app's preferences.
  • UI & Performance Improvements:
  • The download progress label now changes the color to reflect the state of the download (i.e. green for completed, red for errors, etc) and uses a bolder text.
  • This update fixes irresponsiveness when having a large number of videos in the download queue.
  • Improves the performance and decreases CPU usage when downloading long videos that contain captions.
