New in iBright 1.0.1 (Dec 23, 2011)

  • Switching between Apple's brightness control method to alternate control method causes "double darkness".M Resolved by resetting the backlight brightness when switching to alternative brightness control method.
  • Inability to use the mouse to change the brightness due to low brightness levels. Resolved by the addition of HotKey sequences
  • Ctrl+Cmd+"." for brightness increase
  • Ctrl+Cmd+"," for brightness reduction
  • iBright Remote Control does not wake displays/Mac from an Energy saving dimmed mode. Resolved by taking Mac out of energy saving mode upon setting brightness.
  • The proportional or ratio setting for additional displays is a ratio based setting. This setting allows a 0:1 through to a 2:1 brightness ratio based upon the settings qof the primary display. This means that at 2:1, the additional display will remain at 100% brightness whilst the primary display is >50% brightness. However, it is intended that fine adjustment is used to balance the displays and this is done by using the slider to find a suitable setting for an additional display whilst the primary display set to the desired brightness.
  • The synchronisation option should be enabled to allow the control of all additional displays when only using either the standard brightness keys or the master brightness controller.
