New in Wx 7.1.6 (Aug 28, 2023)
- Update to radar to accommodate changes recently made by the NWS. They only offer five Level-3 radar modes now (down from nine L-2 and L-3 modes) which include high-res base reflectivity, high-res base velocity, precipitation type, 1-hour precipitation, and storm-total precipitation. Gone are composite reflectivity, storm-relative velocity, digital differential reflectivity, and echo tops. This version of Wx also contains bug fixes to pro forecast graphics and NOAA satellite maps.

- Wx 7.1.3 re-enables NWS radar mosaic maps which have returned to service. Click the gear button in the lower left corner of the Wx main window and choose "Add NWS Map" to setup the new mosaics.
New in Wx 7.1.2 (Dec 29, 2020)
- Wx 7.1.2 restores radar functionality after the NWS changed their radar framework in late December 2020 and broke the previous implementation. Nine radar modes are available including High Res Base Reflectivity, Composite Reflectivity, Digital Differential Reflectivity, High Res Base Radial Velocity, Storm Relative Radial Velocity, One Hour Precipitation, Storm Total Precipitation, Precipitation Type, and Enhanced Echo Tops. The NWS has discontinued radar mosaic maps, so those have been removed from the app (users should manually delete old maps from their settings).

- The 7.1.1 update fixes a font color issue for customers running macOS dark mode, and avoids a new kind of crash that popped up when the NWS sent out corrupt XML forecast data in early September 2020.

- Thanks to all our great customers who have been using Wx for over 15 years! This update contains a bunch of small fixes and UI tweaks for newer versions of macOS. It includes revised URLs for NWS maps. We fixed a map bug to improve panning to adjacent radars during animations. The radar map style is now saved as a preference.

- Revised handling of alerts to only create notification when alert is new to the session.
- Revised NWS satellite map URLs (again) to deal with duplicate images coming from the NWS servers and overwriting each other. Please delete and recreate any affected maps.
