- Three new sort criteria have been added:
- Words with clues can be sorted to the top of the table
- Excluded words can be sorted to the top of the table

New in WordSearch 4 1.3.0 (Dec 9, 2011)
- An integrated shape editor has been added to allow shapes to be created and edited within the WordSearch 4 application.
- A short tutorial on the shape editor is available from the help menu and from within the help file.
- A new shape management window has been added to allow the adding, deleting and activating of shapes.
- The web site now has a page where users can exchange shapes that they have created.
- The application now uses Auto Save and Versions in OS X Lion. This feature applies to the wordsearch files only and not to the shape files. Auto Save and Versions may, if you wish, be turned off in the preferences.

- Drag and drop between windows now works correctly in OS 10.6
- The help file is now the correct help file. Previous versions of the program had an unfinished help file that had, somehow, got included in error.
