KNOWN ISSUES:
WIRE-21191: On macOS, the default keyboard shortcut set does not allow the user to increment the home team’s score with the Scoreboard widget. Users can workaround this by duplicating the default keyboard set and setting the shortcut to “=”.
WIRE-20891: Applying a Matte to an Image Carousel will break all rendering with the D3D12 rendering engine. Users can workaround this by setting the Render Engine to D3D11 in the Preferences->Advanced tab.
We added an automatic mode for Windows Render Engine Selection in Preferences, which, if you’re using an AMD GPU we will automatically switch you to Direct3D11.
WIRE-20182: Any version of the Support Assistant lower than Wirecast 15.0 will lose the ability to email crash reports. This will break when TLSv1.2 is enabled on the server side.
WIRE-15439: If the user defines two conflicting OMP environment variables a command prompt can appear when starting Wirecast.
WIRE-20456: AVerMedia Live Gamer HD colors become distorted when Source ISO recordings start. We’ve been unable to reproduce this with other AVerMedia capture devices.
WIRE-20455: AVerMedia Source ISO recordings fail to write any data to disk when audio is enabled.

Network Diagnostics: Rendezvous hosts can now see an icon (either a green, yellow or red signal icon) for each guest, indicating downlink network quality (from guest to Wirecast).
Additionally, the host can see current network stats in the bottom left corner of each guest's video. Presented stats are received bitrate, round trip time, jitter and packet loss. Stats are refreshed every 5 seconds
New! Rendezvous Music Mode: Rendezvous guests can turn on Music Mode, which will greatly improve the audio quality when playing musical instruments over Rendezvous
Rendezvous guests will have the option to turn on Music Mode in their Rendezvous web app. This will:
Enable stereo audio
Increase the audio bitrate to 256k. (By default, it is mono 32k. When enabling music mode, it will be two channels, 128k each.)
Note: this applies only for Rendezvous guests sending audio to Wirecast. Higher quality audio will not be sent to other guests in session (bandwidth utilization would be significantly higher in such case).
Disable audio processing (echo cancellation and noise reduction)
Note: disabling audio processing for normal microphones and just talking can result in poor quality audio - so this should only be used for playing instruments.

All audio meters now use a consistent dBFS scale across the app. You'll see consistent readings whether you're looking at Multiviewer audio bars or the Advanced audio Meter. Levels turn yellow when they hit -6dB and red anything greater than -1dB. All meters are consistent in showing when audio is clipping (yellow & red)

Now we will try to reconnect 8 times. When the reconnection process begins, a progress wheel widget is displayed in the bottom right next to the 'Disconnect' button. If reconnection fails, you are automatically disconnected from the session and given an error message.

Known Issues:
WIRE-16822 – Apple will soon drop support for KEXT audio drivers, which enables us to capture the system audio on Mac. For now, users that have the old Wirecast driver installed can continue to use that until Apple fully disables this system. New Wirecast users will have several options (outlined in this Knowledge Base article), including to manually install the old driver if they want to use this.

Known Issues:
WIRE-16400 – On Windows 7, system devices that deliver planar YUV display green video. The workaround for these devices is to set the color space to RGB.
WIRE-16085 – If you are updating to Wirecast 13 and have multiple capture cards that are different models, when you open a saved document that contains sources from the capture cards, one of the inputs may fail to upgrade (and will show their saved source.) To remedy this re-add the missing source back into the document, then open the Asset Manager and assign that newly added source to back into its saved shot.

MacOS – Adding more than one PTZOptics NDI connection to a single machine (regardless of the connecting application) can cause a crash in the application that is the second to connect.

Known issues:
The new recoverable format adds 30MB of metadata to MOV and MP4 files, result in larger file sizes. File sizes can be reduced without affecting quality by rewrapping with handbrake or FFmpeg.
Multiple Replay clips captured during the same replay session will not render correctly when played at the same time on different master layers or different shot layers.
Starting Wirecast while the Local Desktop Presenter is started and minimized will result in the DTP source displaying a green frame. A workaround is to maximize DTP before starting Wirecast.
Using Monitor capture option of the Local Desktop Presenter on Windows 7 with Aero enabled can slow system performance and result is low frame rate desktop captures. Disabling Aero will solve the issue.

Flash Streaming Server support. Wirecast now streams to services that support the RTMP (Flash) protocol. This includes Adobe Flash Media Server and Wowza Media Server.
Stream using Flash to the most popular streaming services: Ustream and Mogulus are integrated directly into Wirecast to allow quick and easy setup to these services.
Flash to disk. Wirecast is now capable of recording F4V or M4V files to disk as part of your recording session.
For services not yet fully integrated, you can use any FME 2.5 or FME 3.0 XML Configuration file to quickly set up Wirecast to stream to your Flash server. (Only server URL and Stream is used - codec settings are not ingested).
Server auto-reconnect support. If the connection to a streaming server is severed, Wirecast will reconnect to the server when the connection is available. Users can stop an auto-reconnect in progress.
Specifically enable / disable devices for Wirecast to use. You now have full control over which devices Wirecast loads when it launches.
Configure the aspect ratio of your devices. Wirecast now allows you to define the true aspect ratio of your camera or capture device. This allows you to mix and match square and non-square pixel input sources.
