  • Fixed issues:
  • It is now possible to update the DDP Player on Windows systems.
  • Using VST 2 plug-ins that can only process up to 32 bit float samples on mono audio files now works as expected.

  • It is now possible to open the File Selector within the Batch Conversion tool.
  • The DDP Player no longer produces click sounds while positioning the cursor through a song.
  • Loading m4a files no longer freezes the application.

  • The update introduces a state-of-the-art 64-bit floating-point audio engine with double-precision processing power. Furthermore, a new Speech algorithm for the RestoreRig has been added to the DeNoiser module.
  • In addition, the update provides fixes and improvements throughout several areas of the application.

  • The audio engine now offers 64-bit floating-point processing precision also including the plug-in set and file import/export.
  • Recording is now possible in up to 32-bit sample precision.
  • Formats:
  • Import and export of Wave files with a BWF extension is now supported.
  • Master Section:
  • “Restore Saved Plug-in Visibility” is a new option to restore the visibility of plug-in windows for Master Section presets.
  • Naming Scheme:
  • The Naming Scheme dialog has two new options: “Convert to Lower Case” and “Replace Spaces by Separator”.
  • RestoreRig:
  • The DeNoiser module has a new Speech algorithm specialized for dialog de-noising.
  • All DeNoiser algorithms have been improved.
  • Spectroscope:
  • The Spectroscope now offers a larger dB range to avoid a clipping bar graph when playing back loud audio files.
  • Others:
  • There is a new option for the file browser to change when the file type changes.
  • There is a new plug-in settings option for different ways to filter plug-ins.
  • Fixed issues:
  • The last used Fade shape is now restored after relaunching WaveLab.
  • The Audio Mixer plug-in no longer creates click noises in the resulting audio file.
  • The “Delete track” command now works as expected.
  • Custom Raw Text for CD Report now works as expected (macOS only).
  • ALAC audio files can now be opened (Windows only).
  • The Error Correction process can now be canceled when using the Audio InPainting algorithm.
  • The bypass state of Master Section is now consistent when undoing/redoing an in-place process.

  • Wavelab now shows a clear warning message when using invalid characters for file names.
  • The favorite folder is now always remembered in the File Browser.
  • Relaunching WaveLab with mono-only plug-ins loaded in the Master Section no longer deactivates those plug-ins.
  • Applied reverb tails are now included in a super clip.
  • Recording Recording Split Mode can now create markers twice.
  • Loading an M4A file with multi-byte character in its name no longer renders the application unreliable.
  • User Dragging the timeline ruler to zoom in or out now works as Interface expected.
  • User Last used tool window tab configuration is now restored after Interface relaunching WaveLab.
