  • In Wacom Center, you can now use your keyboard's backspace or delete key to clear an entry when manually adjusting the Pen calibration's horizontal or vertical offset entries.

  • On macOS 14 and macOS 12 Intel, an uninstall of the driver will now delete your Wacom Center/Wacom Tablet Properties settings.

  • Long keystroke strings assigned to pen buttons and ExpressKeys now execute correctly.
  • You can now change the brightness and contrast on the Cintiq 27 running on macOS 11.
  • You can now click on buttons with your pen in the ScreenFlow application without any drag.
  • You can now use modifier keys (Cmd, Option, etc.) from the keyboard or tablet with your pen without the modifier key sticking.

  • Using your pen to create quick strokes no longer creates inadvertent straight lines at the start of the pen stroke or lines in between lifting and touching your pen to the tablet.

  • Resolved Issues:
  • When activating a keystroke assigned to a button (holding down an ExpressKey assigned to the Option key, for example), the keystroke now holds correctly.
  • You can now assign "Display Toggle" to a pen button.
  • When mirroring three or more devices that include a Pen Tablet, the tablet can now be correctly mapped to a single monitor.
  • We created a solution in response to macOS 10.15 (and later) not allowing the driver to open the on-screen keyboard. The device's Keyboard button now opens the Wacom On-Screen Controls Keypad instead.
  • If modifier keys are assigned to ExpressKeys and used repeatedly in combination (Shift+Command, for example), the keys now release correctly.
  • When the device's touch feature is switched off and you click the Default button on the Touch Options tab of Wacom Tablet Properties, the touch settings now remain disabled.
  • Known Issues:
  • Straight line segments are present at the start of a stroke in some applications.
  • What you can do about it while we fix it: We are working with the application developers to solve the problem. If you experience this problem, check for application updates.
  • You cannot log in to your computer from your device using pen or touch.
  • What you can do about it while we fix it: You can use your mouse or touchpad. If you do not have a mouse or touchpad, use the Right or Left arrow keys on your keyboard until your user name is selected and then press Enter.

  • Updated tip pressure curves for Wacom One based on customer feedback.

  • Improvements for a richer Wacom customer experience:
  • Users of touch-enabled pen displays can now assign modifier keys (Cmd, Opt, etc.) to On-Screen Controls and combine those modifiers with pen input, other On-Screen Controls, ExpressKeys, keyboard keystrokes and even mouse input. This makes the On-Screen Controls work like ExpressKeys.
  • Users of touch-enabled pen displays can now disable touch input, except for on the On-Screen Controls. This prevents unintended touch when using On-Screen Controls.
  • The Wacom Desktop Center now has a direct link to the Wacom ID account.
  • A new Tip-Up Assist feature helps with pixel-accurate positioning of objects (vector lines, nodes and other control points) on high resolution screens (for Pro Pen 2, Pro Pen 3D and Pro Pen Slim users).
  • Resolved Issues:
  • We fixed an issue with 2-finger tap launching the right-click menu in an unexpected part of the screen.
  • We made improvements to palm rejection on a variety of devices.
  • We fixed an issue so that you can now map pen tablets to two monitors that have the same monitor ID and serial number.

  • Added a settings option called Pan/Scroll (Legacy) that allows your screen cursor to move with the pen when using a pen button to pan/scroll.

  • We fixed an issue which caused modifiers (shift, control, etc.) triggered from ExpressKeys, Pen Buttons, or the eraser to not function correctly when coupled with the keyboard.
  • Horizontal pen scrolling with pan/scroll in Excel is now working in "natural" mode (the pen "grabs" the spreadsheet to move it in the expected direction).
  • We fixed an issue with a stuck Option key not being able to release.
  • We fixed the black overlay that prevented use of the “Click to Define Screen Area” mapping function. Note that due to new macOS 10.15 security features, you will see a dark, transparent overlay to indicate that this setting is active.

  • What you can do about it while we fix it: Create keystrokes or use your keyboard when modifiers are required.

  • We improved the pen pressure response on newer 4k and 8k pressure tablets to make it easier to reach maximum pressure.

  • In this release we have improved the functionality of our touch, gesture, and pen button features in all of your favorite applications.
  • The button function of the new Pro Pen 3D was optimized to avoid undesirable results from inadvertently pressing multiple buttons simultaneously.
  • This update includes a variety of other fixes, so be sure to install the latest driver for optimum use of your Wacom products.
  • RESOLVED ISSUES:
  • All Devices: We fixed an issue where the hidden dock on Mac can be difficult to display using your pen.
  • Cintiq Pro DTH-1320, 1620: We fixed an issue where the Cintiq setup wizard opens after every computer restart.
  • Pro Pen 3D: We fixed an issue where simultaneously pressing multiple pen buttons and pressing the pen tip of your Pro Pen 3D to your tablet may cause lag in your application.
  • KNOWN ISSUES:
  • All Display: When your palm touches the tablet using Adobe Illustrator, the cursor can disappear. What you can do about it while we fix it: You can turn off the Touch feature of your tablet so that only the pen tip is recognized. We are currently working with our partners at Adobe to fix this issue.
  • All Devices: If erase is set to a pen button instead of the pen eraser, the button may not work in all applications. What you can do about it while we fix it: Continue to use the pen eraser to perform the erase function.
  • All Devices: The multi-touch function does not work in ArtRage. What you can do about it while we fix it: Do not use the multi-touch function. We are currently working with our partners at ArtRage to fix this issue.
  • Pro Pen 3D: The pan/zoom function in 3D apps is abrupt when using the Pro Pen 3D. What you can do about it while we fix it: Use alternate pan/zoom control methods instead of the pen control.

New in Wacom Drivers 6.3.25-2 (Oct 16, 2017)

  • New Functions, Options, and Code Improvements:
  • In this release we've added a number of new function options for the Pen and ExpressKeys to improve tablet function in 3D apps such as "Pan/Zoom..." and "Tumble".
  • We've added a new 28 key On-Screen Controls Panel for when you need more than 8 keys to get the job done.
  • Support has been added for the One by Wacom pen tablet (CTL-471 & CTL-671). To take advantage of the Pro driver features simply remove the old consumer driver (5.3.*) and install 6.3.25.

  • The Remove Tablet utility now contains an option to back up your preferences and to restore the backed up preferences at a later time.
  • To back up your preferences, select Go Applications Wacom Tablet Remove Wacom Tablet. After the utility launched, select Back-up ..., choose the name and location of the backup file, and click OK.
  • To restore your previously saved preferences, select Go Applications Wacom Tablet Remove Wacom Tablet. After the utility launched, select Restore ..., browse to the location of your backup file and select it, and click on OK. Note: the name of this utility will be updated in an upcoming driver release.
