New in Lightning 3.0 (Feb 15, 2014)

  • RSS feeds, site watching/analysis and a high visibility reader added but the focus on speed remains the same. This is why Lightning remains resolutely 32bit like Chrome -it’s just that little bit faster. Scan the tooltips for each button on the interface to catch up on the new functionality. If grey isn’t your thing you can now set transparent colours for the title bar.

  • Lightning now pre-fetches your next page off-screen when you hover the mouse over it's link. New "rewind to last search" button along with improved memory management and a cause of very occaisional crashes due to popup windows fixed. If you have a "hash mismatch" error on updating please delete your old "/Applications/TurboWeb.app".
