  • Fixed a nasty crash which occured under OS X 10.7 Lion
  • Improved the song display: Too long song titles will be scrolled.
  • Introduced smart screen size recognition. Tune Buddy should be now more useful on Macs with smaller screen resolutions. Try it out and deactivate the "Small Screen Mode". Tune Buddy shouldn't disappear anymore. (At least not that often.)

  • Tune Buddy now supports sharing your current played track info on Facebook. You can choose to post simple updates that only show the Tune Buddy info you see in your menu bar or you can let Tune Buddy post extended information.

  • Twitter OAuth fix - Again we improved the authentication with Twitter.
  • Performance improvements - We could save a few extra bytes of memory. So Tune Buddy uses now even less of your Mac's precious RAM.

  • Tune Buddy will use now OAuth for authentication with Twitter. The next time you post to Twitter a window will pop up and ask you to authorize Tune Buddy to use your Twitter account. Just enter your username and password and click on allow. Ignore the PIN. The window will close automatically after everything is set up.
  • A memory leak was fixed.

  • Tune Buddy will use now OAuth for authentication with Twitter. The next time you post to Twitter a window will pop up and ask you to authorize Tune Buddy to use your Twitter account. Just enter your username and password and click on allow. Ignore the PIN - Tune Buddy will read and enter it automagically for you. Don't close the window - it will close when everything is set up.
  • This authentication has only to be done once! If you should want to log in with a different Twitter account just go to the preference pane and click the "Re-Authenticate" button.

  • A much requested feature has been added: You can now enable tagging of songs for Twitter in the preferences panel: Each song you post to Twitter will be tagged with # - which will result in tweets like: ♫ #The #Artist - #A #Song #Title #nowplaying.

  • You can now change the font color of the text displayed in the menu bar.
  • Some users are using custom themes with a dark menu bar which makes the Tune Buddy text unreadable. Now you can change the text color of the Tune Buddy menu item.
  • This setting can be found in the "General"-tab of Tune Buddy's preferences window.

  • Support for the Growl notification system has been added.
  • Tune Buddy will now notify of track changes through Growl.
  • This is useful for users who have the small screen mode enabled.
  • You can enable/disable this behavior in the preferences under the "General" tab.
  • Check/uncheck "Notify Of Track Changes Through Growl" to alter the settings.
