New in Topaz Adjust AI 5.1.0 (Mar 15, 2013)

  • Apply button. Stack multiple effects and presets during the same workflow.
  • My Collection. Users can now save their presets under My Collection.
  • Preset Collections. Presets are organized into 5 unique collections.
  • Local Adjustments. Intuitive selective adjustment brush for burning, dodging, smoothing, and brushing out (erasing) added adjustments - plus edge-aware options.
  • The Local Adjustment tools to Undo, Redo and Reset applied adjustments. You can undo/redo up to 4 steps within a selected Adjustment Type.
  • Histogram. Shows the tonal range of your image.
  • Curve Tool. Easily adjust image tonality to help emphasize tones, contrast and brightness within your image.

New in Topaz Adjust AI 3.2 (Jul 9, 2009)

  • New user interface:
  • Preset thumbnails: small previews of each preset’s effect on the image are now displayed in the Previews section.
  • Shortcut hotkeys. For example, use the spacebar to switch between the original and the processed images, the + and - keys to zoom in/out of the preview, and the arrow keys to change parameters values.
  • Selectable color schemes, including black background, gray, and default.
  • Snapshot buttons. You can now temporarily save settings to one of the two snapshot buttons and recall it quickly. This is a good way to compare different settings.
  • Navigation View. A small navigation view is added to make it much easier to navigate through large images.
  • New image processing method:
  • “Process details independent of exposure” (in the Details tab) allows separate adjustment of exposure and details. This method helps prevent noise amplification, such as in clouds and walls, and easily produces smoother effects.
  • Performance improvements:
  • Reduced RAM use: Topaz Adjust 3 can handle much larger images than Topaz Adjust v2.x and below.
  • Processing speed improvement.
  • New host program support added: GraphicConverter, a shareware image editing program.
  • Other miscellaneous features. For example, you can now import presets directly from the internet, randomize parameters, etc.
