  • Enable the feature in Preferences
  • Any running timers will automatically be stopped when your computer sleeps
  • That's it!

  • Fixed an issue with the "pro" mode start button. Funny enough the words start/stop were blocking the clicking of the button.

  • For Pro users:
  • You can now change the view of your timers to see more of them at once! Woo! (You can do this from the Pro Features menu item)
  • You can also now sort your timers by time or category :) (They will sort at launch of the app)
  • For everyone:
  • We added a quick filter text box for when selecting tags for timers. Type either the tag name or category name, select the one you want, and hit enter! It's so much faster to use than clicking! Yay!
  • We also improved the tag selection view to show category color to help you differentiate the tags a bit more!
  • You can now resize the timer view to make it a little bit bigger if you'd like!
  • For people with those new fancy MacBook Pros:
  • Added some Touch bar support throughout the app

  • Shrunk the timers a little bit more so it’s not such a space hog on your screen! We’ll keep working on this

  • NEW STUFF:
  • The user interface got an update to be brighter and bolder! The categories and tags window in particular were slightly redesigned and cleaned up.
  • You can now close the main window (cmd-W), and the app won't quit. To bring it back, you can click the dock icon or just go to "Window" Menu and bring back the main window.
  • You can start a new timer or stop all timers from the dock icon!
  • FIXES:
  • Double clicking a time record row when you already had a window open now properly updates it--so you don't need to close the window just to open a new one.
  • Fixed the totals button showing only a subset of the hours
  • Fixed a bug where you'd full screen the app while hiding records (which resulted in a terrible, weird screen)
  • Fixed an issue where the font size wouldn't adjust properly in the timers view or your text would be left-justified when it was meant to be centered.

  • You can now collapse/show the records portion of the window. If you click into the "Window" menu item, you'll find the toggle item to hide/show records. You can also drag the divider between timer/records left/right to achieve the same thing!
  • You can now squeeze the window a little more, and bring it down to 600 pixels in width, down from 750! Enjoy the extra 150 pixels!
  • In fact, with just the timers showing, the app will take up only 300 pixels (width). You could enjoy an extra 450 pixels back!
  • Flipped the position of the edit/delete records button in the "Time Records" window. I also added a confirmation dialogue to help avoid accidental deletions

  • Purchase TimeTag Pro on your iPhone or iPad, and sync your records with your Mac!
  • For those of you with tons and tons of records, loading the app should be a lot faster! It will now page your data, and let you click to load more if you so desire.
  • File export names have been updated to show the date range you're exporting
  • The CSV export now has all the column types lined up, so you can do all kinds of column based math more easily, if you're into that kind of thing.
  • Fixed a bug where any notes you added while adding a custom record just disappeared. Super annoying. It won't do that anymore!

  • Added in many more quick date filters to the Filter screen. You can now set the dates quickly to anywhere from 1 week to "all time", which sets the date back to 1969.
  • Added a setting to always round your timers up to the nearest minute. So if your timer ends at 44:16, it will round up to 45:00.
  • Fixed the list of categories in the filter screen to now be alphabetical, or at least ordered in some sane way
  • Added some helpful alerts if/when you try to edit or delete a record, and haven't selected one yet

  • If you have a TimeTag Pro account from your iOS device, you can sign in here and keep your records in sync! We'll be adding in support for buying a subscription here, but for now you'll need to have an iOS device to use these cloud features. (Accessible from the Preferences area)
