New in Timbuktu Pro 8.8.3 (Jul 23, 2011)

  • Updated to be compatible with Mac OS X Lion. This new version of Timbuktu does not work on Mac OS X 10.5 and earlier; users of these earlier operating systems should continue to use Timbuktu Pro 8.8.2. Version 8.8.3 only supports Mac OS 10.6 and higher including 10.7 Lion and is backwards compatible to version 6.0 of the software
  • Backward Compatibility - Timbuktu Pro 8.8.3 will communicate with older versions of Timbuktu Pro back to version 6 of the software.
  • Important: Users of 10.4, 10.5, as well as Intel and PowerPC based Macs should continue to use version 8.8.2.

New in Timbuktu Pro 8.8.2 (Nov 3, 2010)

  • Resolves issues introduced with Mac OS X version 10.6 and later, and is therefore recommended only for computers running Mac OS X version 10.6 or later. While it will run normally on other versions of Mac OS X, it will provide no additional benefits or features beyond those in Timbuktu Pro version 8.8.
  • Timbuktu Pro version 8.8.2 resolves the following two issues on computers running Mac OS 10.6 or later. During Control sessions, mouse-click modifier keys (Shift, Control, Option, and Command) now operate correctly when you use them in conjunction with the mouse.
  • Timbuktu Pro no longer encounters occasional performance issues when you establish an Exchange connection.
