New in TagoMan 2.0.3 Beta (Dec 22, 2009)

  • The new TagGroups feature introduced in this version makes act of tagging as easy and intuitive as dragging a file from one folder to another.
  • How does it work:
  • create new Tag Groups window
  • enter one or more tags which you want this window to be associated with
  • drag stuff in
  • Dragging files, emails or URL links in will apply group’s tags to those items right away. Whereas dragging them out will remove them. You can also reassign tags by dragging items from one group window to another.
  • The tag group itself may be reffered to by using tag: link. For example: tag://TagA+TagB would open a group window showing all items tagged as TagA and TagB.
  • openmeta support updated
  • new OpenMeta actions (restore tags, migrate tags)
  • tags may be grouped together by using ‘+’ character (e.g. TagA+TagB+TabC)
  • dragging a tag out of the TagoMan creates a tag: link
  • ‘append last-applied tag’ menu item and hotkey
  • ’show last-applied tag’ in TagoMan’s menu (configurable)
  • service menu integration (OS X 10.6 only)
  • browse for files to tag (one more way to tag)
  • better imap and msexchange support in the Apple Mail (and is fater)
  • tags are visible as Finder comments (configurable)
  • support for DEVONthink
