  • The application will quit if it detects running Stickies without a database file in the Library folder.
  • Restore Data: The user can select a folder with the open-folder window by choosing File > Open Data.
  • Restore Data: The application will check the physical size of the source folder and that of the resulting application folder. If they don't match each other, it will prompt a message.
  • When the application cannot find a necessary data file, which is likely to occur when it's used under the Guest account, it will prompt a message for how to fix the problem.
  • Change: The default Stickies set color is changed to green (RGB: 0,204,0).
  • Several other minor changes are done.

  • Fix: When the user closed Preferences, the application might not have saved the position of the main window.
  • 'Launch Stickies' will be automatically grayed out while Stickies is actually running.
  • Right-button-clicking on an existing Stickies set and choosing 'Quit Stickies,' the user can quit Stickies from this application.

  • The user can now backup Stickies + Switchies data manually or periodically.
  • The user can restore Stickies + Swtichies data from a backup folder.
  • The application will quit itself half a second sooner.
  • Right-button-clicking on it and choosing 'Duplicate This Stickies Set,' the user can now duplicate the selected Stickies set. Note that you cannot duplicate the original Stickies set for now.

  • Change: The application will relaunch itself when the user closes Preferences.
  • The user can now set default name, color and description for new sets of Stickies windows in Preferences > Default.
  • The user can set the width (between 200 and 300 pixels) of the window in Preferences.

  • The user can now drag and drop clipped text directly onto the text field and text area to create Stickies profiles.

  • Fix: The user is able to edit Stickies profile when no change has been made to the name.
  • The user is now able to customize the flashing color. Enable 'Changing flashing colors' in Preferences > Settings and select a color by clicking on the button below.
