Svgsus Changelog

What's new in Svgsus 1.0.5

Aug 31, 2018
  • Support to alter icon sizes using command button along with "+" and "-" (use command + "0" to restore sizes).
  • Fixes a minor bug with overlay not disappearing when dragging files that aren't svgs or folders over Svgsus.

New in Svgsus 1.0.3 (Aug 30, 2018)

  • Resolved issue with pasted path (from e.g. Illustrator) that resulted in Svgsus freezing.
  • Drag "over" no longer gives us info about the file (as of High Sierra), hence we've modified the behavior of the overlay (=> improved UX).

New in Svgsus 1.0.1 (Apr 20, 2017)

  • New Svgsus icon for the "show all my sets" tab
  • Support for dragging an icon into Svgsus and then pasting a generated file wherever. Probably most useful for all our great Android developers.

New in Svgsus 1.0.0 (Apr 7, 2017)

  • There's a new emoji tab in the bottom that lets you display and search all your icons (from all sets).
  • Resolved issues with the export for Vector Drawables and UIBezierPaths incorrectly getting black strokes and fills added.
  • Resolved issue with file names being displayed incorrectly.
  • We're starting to charge for our beloved baby, because we want to prioritise working on it more.

New in Svgsus 0.18.1 (Oct 7, 2016)

  • Done *a lot* of work (244 commits, 103 files changed, 8055 deletions etc.), and even though most of it was done "under the hood", we do have some neat little features for you.
  • Support for really large icon sets:
  • You heard us, you're no longer limited to working with just a few thousands of SVGs at the same time.
  • Set notes:
  • We sometimes have links and licenses related to our sets that we want to store. And now we can, check out "Edit set".
  • SVG Symbols 2.0:
  • Well, our previous version of the SVG Symbol format had a few issues. This version does not. It's great.
  • Support for Swift 3:
  • iOS people and friends. You can output your shapes for Swift 3 now.
  • Loaders, empty states & subtle animations:
  • We've tried to improve the overall experience of Svgsus by adding a few more neat details such as animations, empty states, loaders and better error handling.

New in Svgsus 0.17.0 (Sep 15, 2016)

  • It's here, the long awaited SVG symbol format

New in Svgsus 0.16.1 (Sep 11, 2016)

  • Just a minor update where we've resolved a few things.
  • A file with odd characters in the name / directory wouldn't render properly. Now it does.
  • If you're searching, and there aren't any matches you'll now see a 'No results' text.
  • CSS background format no longer contains charset (";utf8").

New in Svgsus 0.16.0 (Sep 5, 2016)

  • Added another output format to choose from -> CSS (background)
  • Multi convert is now available for all code formats. For Swift and CSS, this means you'll get one file with a bunch of variables / classes. Pretty neat.
  • There's now an option to show an icon in the os menu / toolbar to speed up your workflow even more!
  • Also fixed a stupid bug

New in Svgsus 0.15.1 (Aug 31, 2016)

  • 'Show filename' now only shows the actual filename, not the .svg extension.
  • Icons can now be dragged from the bottom toolbar as well.
  • We also did some minor animation, line-height and other visual tweaks.

New in Svgsus 0.15.0 (Aug 29, 2016)

  • Convert multiple icons at once:
  • You can now quickly convert all or some of your SVGs to your favourite format (exporting to .swift will be available in a later update). Just enable multi convert, pick a few icons (or select all of them with cmd+a) and click convert. In a few seconds you'll have them available in your clipboard for pasting into finder, or you can just select a directory to save them to.
  • Tagging:
  • Adding custom tags to your icons is now as easy as clicking and typing, and if you happen to share that icon set with your team using something like Dropbox or Google Drive the tags will also propagate and be searchable across to your team mates.
  • Besides these two big ones you can now toggle filenames in preferences and we've tried to make the app more user friendly and found some nasty little bugs to crush.
