- This update fixes a number of bugs and is recommended for all users.
New in Sponge 1.3 (Nov 27, 2009)
- Better performance. Sponge is now considerably faster, more responsive and uses less system overhead.
- Higher stability. The new version is more robust and should fix random crashes that some users were experiencing.
- Smoother usability. For example Sponge now continues automatically when switching tabs.
- More Preferences. Such as an option to keep running tasks in the background.
- Bug fixes. We fixed various smaller bugs and user interface annoyances.
New in Sponge 1.2.2 (Aug 31, 2009)
- This update makes Sponge ready for Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard and is recommended for all users. Sponge will continue to work on Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger and 10.5 Leopard.
- This is a free upgrade for registered users.

- Fixes bugs experienced by some users when finding duplicates.

- Added Help. Sponge now ships with a help book with howtos on the main tasks and solutions to the common problems.
- Lightning fast find duplicates. Sponge is now much faster in finding duplicates, even when searching very large directories
- Black list. You can now create a list of files and directories for Sponge to ignore when searching for duplicates.
- Estimated disk savings. When searching for duplicates, Sponge will let you know an estimate of how much space you can save by removing those duplicates.
- More locations. Sponge will now also search for applications to remove in your Documents and Downloads directory, among others.
- Follow symbolic links and network volumes. Broaden your sweep by having Sponge follow symbolic links and network volumes.
