  • Speedify 11 is the culmination of a multi-year effort to enable and empower secure remote work and distance learning by improving speed, security, and stability of your Internet in both everyday and challenging scenarios.
  • Our channel bonding technology is better than ever, allowing you to combine multiple Internet connections with up to 95% efficiency. Better yet, with the addition of advanced header compression and our new multiple TCP transport mode, Speedify can even improve performance when using a single Internet connection with excessive packet loss or latency. Coupled with our revolutionary streaming mode that automatically detects, protects, and prioritizes real-time streaming traffic - Speedify is the only VPN that can deliver more stable, secure, and reliable video calling, live streaming, gaming, and browsing.
  • But that’s not all! Speedify 11 also includes a brand new integrated speed test with history so you can easily track and compare the combined speed of your connections with different settings.
  • Last but not least, by popular request we’ve added weekly reporting of statistics and squashed some bugs in our Bypass feature.
  • New Features in Speedify 11:

  • Windows: Improved Internet Kill Switch: We’ve improved the behavior and messaging around the Internet Kill Switch. When activated, it ensures that Speedify stays connected, and other programs are blocked from accessing the Internet if Speedify is disconnected. If security is your top concern, this setting will keep you from ever accidently going online without the protection of Speedify”s VPN. To activate, go to Settings > Privacy > Internet Kill Switch.

New in Speedify 6.0.1.4621 (Mar 22, 2018)

  • New Features:
  • Rate Limits on Data Caps: The Daily and Monthly data caps on adapters now support setting a rate limit of 200 Kbps when you’ve exceeded the cap. This is really useful, to help you avoid using too much cellular, so by default if (on mobile) you use more than 200Mbps of cellular in a day, it will slow you to 200 Kbps on cellular to protect you. You can change this at any time by going into your cellular adapter and changing the limits.
  • Reconnect Improvements: The connect and reconnect logic is now more resilient, a result of countless hours spent testing on trains and in tunnels.
  • Improved Bonding Performance: Speedify does a better job ensuring that a single poorly performing internet connection can not drag down the performance of your faster connections.

New in Speedify 5.8.0.4423 (Feb 27, 2018)

New in Speedify 5.7.0 (Jan 31, 2018)

  • New Features:
  • Improved Battery Usage: Fixes for several issues causing extra battery usage
  • Improved Performance: Better bonding performance for some scenarios
  • Improved Stability: Fixes some crashes and connection stability issues

New in Speedify 5.6.0.4290 (Nov 24, 2017)

  • New Features:
  • Rate Limiting: In the connection’s settings there is now an optional Rate Limit. When set this will prevent the connection from going faster on average than the speed you select. Why would you want to slow down your internet? Most people won’t want to, of course, but if you are trying to not use too much of an expensive cellular or satellite connection, then this could be a real money saver.
  • Performance Improvements: Reduces the amount of latency that Speedify introduces into the network and over the Speedify tunnel.
  • User Interface Improvements: Improved color palette on connections to avoid hard to read combinations. On the Desktop versions, when you only have one connection, a new faux connection called “Add Connection” appears which when clicked on offers guidance on how to set up new internet connections.

New in Speedify 5.4.1.3968 (Sep 8, 2017)

  • New Features:
  • Dead Hotspot Protection: Dead hotspot protection has now come to Android (5.0 and above), so it’s available on all operating systems. If you’re on a “dead” Wi-Fi hotspot that stops your apps from reaching the internet, Speedify can use your cellular or other connections to reach the internet and connect anyways. You will never have to switch off your Wi-Fi again.
  • Snappier User Interface: The user interface is much more responsive, with faster framerates, smoother animations and quicker reactions.
  • Port Forwarding for Teams accounts: Our most requested feature for enterprise users has arrived: Speedify for Teams users can now have certain UDP and TCP ports on a dedicated server forwarded to clients. Available via the user interface and the command line.
  • Android TV Support: Speedify now works on Android TV devices. You can control the Speedify user interface via your remote control, and your streaming apps will go through the Speedify VPN.
  • Cool little improvements: Free 7 day trials on Android. Better icons in the menu bar for macOS. Reduced CPU usage per packet for better performance on fast connections.

New in Speedify 5.3.0.3860 (Aug 11, 2017)

  • New Features:
  • Dead Hotspot Protection: On iOS, macOS and Windows (Android support coming soon), the world’s most reliable VPN just took another big step forward: if you’re on a “dead” or “blackhole” Wi-Fi hotspot that stops your apps from reaching the internet, Speedify can use your cellular or other connections to reach the internet and connect anyways. You will never have to switch off your Wi-Fi again.
  • Performance Improvements: Speedify is even faster in a variety of situations. In our tests, it averages 4% faster, your exact improvement will depend on how and where you use the software.
  • Hardware Accelerated Encryption: In addition, on Android, macOS, and Windows, Speedify will automatically use any AES encryption hardware that is built into your device’s CPU. On newer devices (that have such hardware) it can be a noticeable speed up. For devices with hardware support, Speedify will use AES128-GCM instead of ChaCha encryption.
  • User Interface Improvements: Little fixes and improvements throughout the user interface.

New in Speedify 5.0.0.2993 (Dec 29, 2016)

  • Speedify version 5.0, makes the Internet faster and more reliable, adding a VPN twist to it via strong (and fast) encryption algorithms. That’s right – whether on desktop Mac / PC or on iOS / Android devices, Speedify is the tool you need to get the most out of your Internet connections.
  • Encryption:
  • All your data sent through Speedify is now protected by the fast encryption we provide. And – best of all – you can turn it on whenever you want to using a simple switch on the main screen. We’ll let you in on a little secret as well: it’s faster than any VPN solution out there due to the architecture our engineers developed and, naturally, the speed servers located all over the world.
  • New languages:
  • Taking into account the large popularity of Speedify globally, we are proud to announce that it is now available in the following languages: German, French, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese (Simplified), Turkish, Arabic, Romanian.
  • This applies to the app itself, but also to the websites and Speedify listings on app stores. More languages will follow.
  • Teams version:
  • We recently launched Speedify for Teams to provide better Internet for your organization. It gives users fast reliable Internet on all their devices with the added benefits of a centralized management interface and individual customization options.
  • User interface improvements:
  • You speak, we listen – many fixes and improvements are included in this major release.

  • A new mode for mobile users: Redundant Mode. This was our most frequently requested feature. Especially by reporters! When activated, your data is sent on both Wi-Fi and Cellular. So important VoIP calls, and live video streaming events don’t get interrupted, no matter what.
  • More servers in more countries so we’re just “around the corner” for you, as Speedify is used all over the world

New in Speedify 3.0.0.731 Beta 1 (Jul 24, 2015)

  • For most users, Speedify 3 is much faster than 2.4 due to performance-tuning improvements
  • Speedify 3 will no longer speed test each Internet connection when it first connects. This lets Speedify connect faster and avoids using extra data. Instead, Speedify quickly discovers the speeds as soon as you start sending and receiving significant amounts of data.
  • Each user has their own isolated software container on the Speed Server. This has a number of benefits, including improved security, stability and fairness.
  • More responsive user interface.
  • The Getting Started Guide is now shown across the bottom of the user interface, and works on Mac as well as Windows.
