  • The following problems have been fixed:
  • (DEF59732) Desktop alerts are displayed when updating of Sophos Anti-Virus fails.
  • (DEF58435) On a managed installation, when the on-access scanner starts, Sophos Anti-Virus checks if the anti-virus policy specifies a location to which infected files should be moved. If the policy does specify such a location, Sophos Anti-Virus checks to see if the folder /Users/Shared/Infected exists. If it does not exist, Sophos Anti-Virus creates it. This can occasionally break the mounting of the Users mount point.
  • The threat detection engine and threat data have been updated.

New in Sophos Anti-Virus 7.1.5 (Mar 26, 2010)

  • This version includes fixes for the following problems:
  • If you configure a custom scan to exclude a folder anywhere locally or on the network but not sub-folders, by suffixing the folder with a double slash, Sophos Anti-Virus quits unexpectedly.
  • If a managed installation of Sophos Anti-Virus has an updating or anti-virus policy forcibly applied by the management console, subsequent changes made to these settings locally are not reported correctly in the console.
  • The threat detection engine and threat data have been updated.
