- Introducing the Composition Module:
- The Composition Module is a set of tools inside Songs that help compose a song or create an arrangement. It includes Chord Finder and Chord Reference with more tools to be added over time.
- Chord Finder is s a digital chord book. In addition to the guitar chords frequently found in books, it gives you less common voicings that will make your chord progressions sound more interesting and fresh. Chord Finder is the next version of ChordMate. Being part of Songs, it provides a much more contextual search for your arrangements. It’s much more compact and uses the newer diagrams from Songs. We also adjusted the starting fret for many diagrams to follow the dots on your guitar, so that chords would be easier to find.
- Chord Reference lets you look up chord names, formulas. etc. It’s useful to explore new chord types and can help you find interesting chord substitutions. For example, you can easily find which chords have both a flat 7th and a flat 3rd.
- The Composition Module is an in-app purchase.
