  • Facebook SSL to TLS Fix - This change from SSLv3 to TLS seems to be linked to Google employees discovering serious flaws in the SSLv3 protocol. After Google had published these findings earlier this week, Facebook made the decision to quickly (and albeit quietly) to fend off possible POODLE exploits by shifting to the TLS protocol. SnapShot Studio Professional v1.7 patches the issue, allowing photo uploading to function properly.
  • Additional Enhancements for Nikon Users - SnapShot Studio Professional 1.7 adds auto-focus detection per photo session, speeding up the process from countdown to shutter release for users who use fixed focal lenths for their sessions. Also added is the abilty to save your photos to your camera's media card in addition to the host computer- it's as easy as putting a card in your camera- no setup required.
  • General Enhancements - Clean-up and stability enhancements range from basic interface items to metadata now included in composite photos.

  • New Chroma Key Module:
  • Version 1.5 of SnapShot Studio Professional introduced a brand-new Chroma Key module, similar to that in our PrintRipper application. With the new Chroma Key module, you can key both blue and green screen. We've added a few additional controls for better control; version 1.5.1 now includes edge control as well.SnapShot Studio Professional Edition Photo Booth Software
  • As with our previous chroma module, you can allow for Live View keying as well as see the results instantly when using SnapShot Studio Professional's Thumbnail Capture view.
  • More Optimization:
  • Each build of SnapShot Studio brings more tweaks and optimization of the software as a whole. Version 1.5.1 includes more optimization of preferences and image processing.

  • [Update] Update to Nikon module for Type 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 DSLRs. This includes support for the D610.
  • [New] Added Live View mirror for second monitor. Shows the current session's live view feed on monitor 2. When idle, slideshow will run. Your Slideshow must be set up in order to use this feature.
  • [New] Added Live View function to manual capture mode.
  • Canon: Manual trigger with Live View: You must enable live view on the camera itself to unlock the shutter button.
  • Nikon: Manual trigger with Live View: This is not possible from the camera itself. A USB button mapped to the Spacebar key can work as a substitute.
  • [Fix] Creating/editing a layout no longer resets global settings when returning to main Settings window.
  • [Fix] Patched potential error due to slow live view response when starting photo session.

  • Manual Shooting Mode:
  • Have you imagined using SnapShot Studio as an operator-driven photo station? With the new Manual Shooting Mode, you can trigger the camera yourself, use wired or remote shutter controls, or trigger each photo via keyboard, mouse, or touch screen.
  • Canon Library Update, 70D Support Added:
  • SnapShot Studio uses the latest Canon library set (2.13.20) in version 1.2 and adds support for the new Canon EOS 70D.
  • Composite and Individual Images:
  • Version 1.2 now lets you post your composite, individual images, or both to Facebook.
  • SnapShot Studio Professional also brings a host of updates and bug fixes with version 1.2.

  • [Fix] Patched a potential issue where the capture process finishes but is not able to complete its full cycle, thus returning to the Start Screen.

  • [Fix] Using Windows Webcam with Canon DSLR would engage live view, causing "flicker" between the webcam feed and DSLR live view.
